In the interest of serving you better, we want to find out how and what you are learning together. In the comments, let us know if you mostly utilize the Crosspointe Sermon discussion guide here on this blog, Serendipity Bible group discussion, DVD curriculum, or something else. Also, include how you decided as a group that this particular study suited your group best.
We will use this information to further improve both how we choose a course of study, as well as the quality of the studies themselves. Thanks so much for responding promptly!!!

We are studying The Life You've Always Wanted by John Ortberg. We've been studying this for a few weeks, but might move into studying wisdom. I usually present 2 or 3 options of study material to the group, and then we select from those or someone may suggest something that they really liked.
ReplyDeleteI love the message notes you have provided. They really help me in preparation for our Life Group, which meets on Tuesdays. I think it reinforces what was learned on Sunday and allows LG members to discuss and even disagree with parts of the message. On Sunday, we get the message; on Tuesday, it's the meta-message.
ReplyDeleteWe did DVD-based studies before we started doing message-based studies. Both are good, but the latter is, I think, better. It puts the bow on the gift, and we do appreciate the gifts you bring!

Right now we are going through Max Lucado's book "Cure for the Common Life". This book has been really great thus far. I think the whole group is enjoyin it. The way we stumbled on this book was really just one group member suggesting it and everyone read the summary and thought it was worth a shot. Knowing that it was a Max Lucado book helped too!
